Got a mix of Snap-On and Craftsman!! The Snap-On quality has gone the downward side. I've had Craftsman ratchets fall apart before but never had a Snap-On ratchet fail.

Snap-On wrenches and ratchets are a must have!!! just my $.002.

And go into a sears store with a broke tool wearing a work shirt from your job as mech/tech from somewhere else and they will not fix a non professional tool saying that they dont warranty the non pro tools in a pro enviroment stupid s h 1 t. SNAP ON the only way to go it cost a little more but you get what you pay for!!!!!!!!

I have a mix of tools handed down to me over the years....mostly craftsman and snap-on with a few S*K.

As for new tools, I only buy craftsman. I've had a couple of tools break over the last 10 years, but Sears took care of them quickly and with no questions asked.

For the price, you cant beat craftsman

I used to only use craftsman ntil I broke 2 3/8 ratchets and a thumb nail. Plastic gears inside. I have been using blue point for the last 5 years and nothing has broke and the fit/finish is great.
