Who would ever drive there camaro into a car wash? Apparently this person - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

That car wash is going to cost him $$ to now remove all the dmg he just did to his clear coat unless he like's the swirlmark look

I wont even put my daily driver worth $800 in one of those let alone a 40k car.

That was taken in a town right next to where I live, and from the quotes I think it was purchased from my dealer. My salesman told me about the guy who got the first v8 was getting the vortech supercharger installed for free. Like one of the comments under the video stated. I only hand wash mine, no car wash for my camaro.

i would only take mine to a car wash that is touchless. none of those spinning dirt infested things for me!

I love the touchless ones! Truck's right at two years old now and still comes out looking showroom shiny

At least the guy is out driving his Camaro and not spending countless hours hand washing it in his driveway.

For a lot of us, this goes against what we'd do for our own cars but think about these things...

1. Maybe he lives in an apartment and doesn't have a place to wash his car.
2. He just spent $5 and 2 minutes to wash his car. How much does it cost you and how long does it take for your car?
3. Maybe it's "just a car" for him. He may move on to something else when the newness wears off on the Camaro.
4. Maybe he's headed to pick up his girlfriend for a date and didn't have time to hand wash it.

Just some thoughts...

I probably won't be taking mine through any car washes soon. On the other hand, I certainly plan to drive it around and not spend every weekend washing the hell out of it.

Jersey Shore? I would no be washing mine every weekend if you are on a well. Water there is hard as a rock. Lived there for 3 years and saw all the damage that water did to my pool and plumbing.

Besides that the dang green head flies will eat you alive while you wash your car.
