Muffler delete and plasti dip

Just used plasti dip for 1st time and did a muffler delete today. But I feel like I lost some power with the delete can that happen? I do like how it sounds tho

+1^^ I did it to my SS a month back and I lost on the low end but if you're not into high speed performance then it sounds great

its just because your not getting enough Back pressure without a mufflers

You didn't lose any power. Muffler delete really won't affect the way your car breathes, only make it sound better.

Don't listen to this guy, the back-pressure paranoia is a pretty antiquated concern. Don't worry about that kind of thing until your car starts throwing codes.

Regardless, the lion's share of back pressure and airflow restriction lies in your catalytic converters. If you still have those, back pressure needn't even cross your mind. Chances are, you were expecting an increase in power, and not getting one... which is completely normal.
