I used Pirelli Scorpion ICE & SNOW in the OEM size front and rear.

I did not have a single issue last winter and I daily drive my SS, including the winter.

33,200km's since June 2012 and going strong

thanks, this winter will be the first time i will be driving my SS, last year the beater was more expensive than tires for the SS. between insurance and all the costly repairs, so i decided to drive the SS this winter. Thanks !

This is my set up - 4 x 19" Blizzaks on Elbrus Wheels. Drove my SS last winter and had no issues. There were a couple of storms I got caught in that made me nervous, but I found alternative routes home. The car has a lot of power and its important to remember that. I would not drive it on a highway in a blizzard for sure, but for city driving, this set up worked great.

I'd start looking right away as it took about a week to get my tires, then have them put on the car. Don't wait till it starts snowing, no one will have something you can walk in and buy off the rack.

Bridgestone Blizzacks all four wheels, mine are all the same size as the front wheels, they fit fine on the rear wheels just a bit narrower than the summer tire, but no issues at all after four winters in Montreal highway and city driving. Ran many trips to Ottawa in bad storms with no problems at all.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS - recommended as All Season tires but are really excellent Winter tires. The made a world of difference in the rain. Drove thru snow no problem. Tire Discounters sells them

Was between Blizzaks and Pirelli Snow and Ice. I decided to go with Blizzaks and they perform perfectly!

I always ran Blizzaks, had no issues in the 3 winters I've driven on them. Don't get an all season in the Calgary area you won't be happy with it when it snows

I just bought 4 Blizzaks today from the Tire Rack 245/45/20 all around.

I figure I don't need the extra width in the rear for winter.
