Finally put my harness bar in tonight. Also, separated my brake and clutch masters, and flushed the old brake fluid out for some Motul 660 this past Saturday.

I actually did something. I took the wicker bill off and cleaned all the rocks and dirt from behind it.

This is what I found under my back seat. Edit: This is from the PO... when I did the walk around before I bought the car, I found dog food in the battery well, and in other spots. I've done 2 track days like this... explains a lot of the noises I've been hearing. |

Yup. And a lot of it. I spent quite a bit vacuuming it up, and using a screwdriver to break up the pieces that were stuck in all of the wonderful nooks and crannies. Especially the far left and rear openings where some got down in the body panels....
Worst part is, I realized I have the damn bar installed backwards, so I get to take that out and flip it lol. |

I have a Car Storage business. First question I ask of a new customer is if the have a Dog, Cat or Bird Feeders. If the answer is yes I ask where they keep the food. If the answer is in the Garage I know there is a 50% chance they have mice in the car. I stick Traps in the Cars and to date 50% is the average and that is with the food being stored out side the vehicle. I am going to guess the previous owner had a mouse problem and the mice were hauling the dog food in the car. |

I was going to post the exact same thing. I've seen where mice stored dog food in an old tractor cab. Not to be an alarmist, but I'd also be looking for chewed wires.

No, no mice. Broken bag did that. I got it all out, and thankfully we really don't have a rodent problem thanks to 5 cats who are asshole hunters lol.
