Absolutely, They are part of history...Although this was the actual Pace Car used in 2009.
Chevrolet did not offer for sale, replicas for that year, as they did in 2010.
And Chevrolet did have Festival Silverado's this year, which are also interesting.

You are correct that is the 2009 Pace Car - I have a REAL festival car used for 2009 Indy 500 and Brickyard 400. They did not sell any replicas in 2009 and only sold 19 total of the 25 cars used to the public. Mine is 1 of 4 having been used for both Indy & Brickyard. This car was driven by the George Family and this is why it is absolutely mint and has virtually no miles on it.

Congrats on the car and Welcome to the club...

294 of these were built and they were not numbered.
200 were sold by 187 different dealers,
50 went to Indy and
44 went to Canada.

Becky and I asked Mike Judge about numbering and he found nothing. The only ones that got numbered were the 50 festival cars that had to have temporary Indiana Tags to drive on the streets and was not a sequence from GM.

Check out post #3 we met up at Fastlane while getting mods installed... We exchanged cards and he was on his way. He did say it would be a daily driver. There were about 10 of these delivered to the general Houston area.

There will be plenty of Festival Camaro's and others ....including this weekend at Daytona....but those are not Authorized Reproduced Factory Pace Cars.... like the 1978 Corvette Pace Car....I own one, with 4900 miles....there is a diffence between Pace Cars and the Festival/Parade vehicles.

Bill Estes Chevy where I picked up my Pace Car had 3 of the Parade Silverados for sale. How cool would it be to use that as a tow vehicle for a Pace Car.
