Thanks Andy ! It's great to know you are on top of this. So far I have almost 25k on the system so far and I really have no complaints. I am just wondering if the ones I installed at the end of last year were the changed size bearing and spacer.
Now if all the east coast snow would break I could get the car out to eat up the colder air !

Nothing to worry about if you didn't see any appreciable wear on the pulleys when you replaced your bearings.
A couple of folks are seeing some wear and need replacements. but I think the majority of pulley replacement buyers are, like me , just wanting to have a spare for down the road. My miles are adding up slowly, so it's unlikely I'll ever need'em. But as the old saying (kinda) goes- it's better to have a pulley and not need it, than to need a pulley and not have it! |

The customers who are specifically waiting for pulley assemblies are mainly due to the bearing seizing and damaging the pulley body. For most customers the only upgrade needed is the bearings and spacers in the pulley itself, reuse the existing pulley and install the new bearings and spacers.
Also please make sure you are using the proper belt size. We found a few failures were caused by the improper belt. If the belt is too small, it will put an extreme amount of stress on the idler pulleys and cause premature failure as well. Here are the correct belt sizes, Belt: LFX: K061075 LLT: K061066 |

Thanks for clarifying that Andy! Obviously I don't expect any pulley's until everyone has what they need to be able to operate their vehicles- I'm in no hurry.
Also thanks for those part #'s. I thought there was a difference between the LFX and LLT. I do have the correct spare belt. I just sleep better when I've got spares I guess-LOL. |
