pulley change.... gave a quick question

I have the SLP/jackshaft (magnuson style). I'm changing the stock 3.8 pulley a 3.6 today. Can someone tell me what the torque specs are? Also is it recommended to use Loctite? Thanks.

Torque specs

Did you ever find out. I am doing the same thing!

Also, are you on the stock pump still? Any tune changes?

Shoot... I don't remember the torque specs... it's been a while. As for the pump, I upgraded to the ZL1 and ADM fuel pressure controller when I did the pulley change. The 3.6 gave me about 35 to 40 at the wheels if I remember correctly. I picked up 3 - 4 mph in the quarter. It will make you happy for a while. I now picked up the Overdrive COG pulley which I have yet to install. You know how it goes... you get used to the power fast and you want more.

Thank's for getting back to me!

Ugggg... yeah here lies our issue! We are happy for a while and then we need more!

I have a ZL1 pump and JRE controller. I will probably throw those in at the same time. Also have FIC850 injectors.

Did you have to change much in the tune when you swapped pulleys? I have a wide band installed so I am not too worried about it. I can at least keep an eye on things.

From what I have ready about 33 lbs is all I can fine. Sounds a little high to me. Think I will see how much it takes to pull them off before I hit that level of torque.

Please let me know your thoughts!
Thanks
Brad

Bolt on the pulley torque will be 80 inch pounds with loctite.

The tune will need to be done very differently.

Call me if you need a tune.

Thank you for your business.

Ted.
