After you got your HP tuners custom tune.... was there a starter lag, ie: When you go to start it did it turn a few times before it cranked?

EDIT: I reset my ecu but it still has a slower crank than stock. Def better, but still a bit slow! What else can do?

un plug the ecm for 20-30 sec and it will start fine

yes i had the same prob disconnect the neg battery terminal for a minute then you will be fine.

What all had you done to the car prior to taking it in to them?

Do you get free re-visits for other tunes?

Sounds like you had Formato do your car, congrats bet it runs great now

I have seen some other complaints on the HPTuners forums about slow crank after tune too, you dont seem to be alone

I am going to try the ecu pull for one min, that seemed to do the trick

i wanna know how he tuned the car with hpt. ur basically tuning blindly right now. it sucks.

He had to get some upgrade from hpt. He could only read my car at first. Then I came back the next day and he had bought updated software from them. He could watch everything that was going on just like he was tuning a 95 camaro. Looked the same. I got a street tune with o2 measurement for 100% accuacy. The car feels great! The only things I had done to it were cai, and a ported tb. It is way faster!

Disconnecting the battery in the trunk works for me.
