sound system advice
i bought my 2014 used and the previous owner had a few electronics installed. looks like they did it themselves too. has a 10" Kicker Comp S sub in a dual sub woofer box. there are 2 amps, and a JL Audio Clean Sweep in the glove box.
i want to clean up the mess they made by getting a stealth box and maybe using one amp. i have no knowledge of audio, so here are my questions. would it be much of a downgrade to get rid of one of the amps, keep the sub but put it in a stealth box? should i just buy another identical sub and keep both amps (2 stealth boxes)? or, upgrade to 1 or 2 bigger subs? this is what i mean by stealth box.....http://********.com/Chevrolet-GMC-Cu...Enclosure.html

You mean organize the way the cables are ran, right?
You may need to keep both amps, one may be powering your speakers and the other your Sub's. Even if you go with the stealth box, you will still need two amps. One could be tucked behind the carpet on the stock amp location. The other can be left near the battery where you found it, you could placed it more to your liking. Or place it behind the carpet, behind your right taillight. The JL Clean Sweep, I would leave alone. You may want to double check to see if everything is properly terminated. By the way, your link for the stealth box did not work for me, so I don't know exactly what box you're referring to?

I would keep the clean sweep and throw the rest of it in the trash and start over.

Yeah, it will work. Just make sure you buy the 10" sub version. I had it, fits well, but you have to secure it.

I'd stay away from Kickers. I had a roommate who went through 3 of them in a year. If it was me I'd put in a 12" sub instead of two 10s
