My old '88 Toyota 22r PU had 475k original miles before I sold it back in '05. It needed nothing except for routine brake pads, tires, and filters. The guy that bought it off me had to get the original never touched carburator rebuilt, but that was it.
You guys with up to 100K miles on your Camaros make me laugh. Call me when you approach nearly a half a million miles like I had on my old Toyota PU. lol! Last edited by gringo; 11-07-2017 at 02:03 PM. |

155K miles on my 2010 2LT RS
In for a rear brake issue to a shop today, I just changed the pads and rotors yesterday but I think the calipers are sticking, so they're toast. The new front calipers just arrived at my door today. I was trying to preempt paying someone to work on it. I have had front bearings changed at least 5 individual bearings. One or 2 rear bearings. I had the fuel vapor solenoid go bad, and had to pay for it out of warranty. Other than that, I have only changed plugs and oil.

No (knock on wood). -powertrain mods/tune? Recently installed a BTR 3 cam, GMPP CNC heads, lifters, oil pump, ATI balancer, Kooks, Magnaflow, Z28 CAI, etc. Replaced the entire valve train basically. 464rwhp. |

253,000
But that is only because my son doesn't drive it much the last four years. When I gave it to him , it had around 190,000. |

Holy crap! That's a nearly one-way trip to the moon. Nice to see it's still going.

The most interesting part was the fact that its a DI engine with no catch can.
