May 8th Gathering in Lansing - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Plan is to meet around 3:00pm.

Trying to come up with a list of people that for sure can come. Hopefully we can get a reserved Table, and/or parking spots all together.

If you WILL be in attendance, please post name type of camaro and color.

Sharp Park would be cool with me again, but I'm very flexible.

You will have Rally Yellow representation this time - since it was lacking last time.

I'm up for anywhere my car doesn't get dinged! One other nice park is Patriarch Park in East Lansing although I don't remember if it is paved.

I drove through Patriarch Park this morning. The roads through it are paved but the parking areas are not paved - dirt. Not sure how you feel about that. The other thing with that park is that while it's a nice big park - you get a lot of families with little kids - so it fills up quickly on a nice day.

Another option is Lake Lansing - although the last time I was there (20+ years ago) it was a dirt lot.

There is a nice park over off Willow and Creyts - the Grand River runs by one side of the park and across the street is another part of the park. But again - that's a dirt lot.

We could go to Francis Park over off Waverly and Mt. Hope. That's a nice big park and it has a rose garden for those who are interested in seeing that. Lot is paved. I'm pretty sure they have grills there but my husband has a gas grill we use for camping that we could bring.

Lake Lansing park south is all dirt, and costs a couple bucks to get into. There is the park north that is paved and free, but I'm not sure if there's any grills (the lot is pretty large though).

paved only please hehe... i dont really mind much at all where we go, but if u we want to go to a non park, aka a restaurant we need to get something in the works for that ASAP otherwise a park will be our best option

I am interested. Is this date set in stone or weather permitting? I'd be coming from the Downriver area, so it's a bit of a hike for me. Not as far as Camarofest though. LOL! Keep June 26th open, I believe that is the date for the Downriver Cruise this year. (I'll have to double-check) Not as big as Woodward, but still a big one and fun times!!
