I tried to get them to lower the idle but they were having idle issues. They fixed the issue but never slowed the idle.

Hehe... You have hp tuners. Hit up matt @ fsp or rhino79 for advise. They likely help you if you want to do it yourself, or fix it for you for a fair price. Win/win! Iam Broke is also very knowledgeable in the tuning domain. You can make that cam sound good. It shouldn't be that difficult either.

((intake duration+exhaust duration)/2)-(lsa*2)
Your exhaust will definitely make a difference in how it sounds, also the amount of timing at idle can effect it too.

Sorry for the hi-jack OP, bet the headers really made a difference with that big cam!

I assume you joined the HPtuners site? There is enough information there to get anyone off the ground that wants to learn. Move slow and change one thing at a time. Nothing worse than bungling something up and realizing you don't know which change caused it because you implemented a bunch at once.

And keep your base tune double backed up on different computers/flash drives! Then you can always start over if you don't like where you have ended up.

Not a problem! Maybe there should be a cam thread where people say what they have and show what it sounds like.

I ran no mufflers for a day, then I ended up putting mine back on. I dont have a video of me getting on it any yet, but I do have idle videos. Ill get them uploaded and in here.
