We started with crimson red which is a BMW color. To darken the color we kept adding more of the red toner. We did six spray outs in increments of 50% more red toner. We stopped at 300% because it wasn't getting any darker. So we added black and did three more spray outs. Each one with a little more black. We still weren't there. Man...a bummer. I think you are wasting the car in white. Your car is so different the paint has to be too. Since you just bought yourself another year, sleep on it for a few days and go from there. Do some crazy gunmetal to go with the carbon or like a darker silver. Or an amazing navy/blue......think like the special GT R purple but in a bluish tint. That new BMW M4 dark blue is amazing....... white looks like primer next to those colors. Even the red you were going for is so different and cool and I hate red cars. Paint it white and you will look like a stock z/28 since that white was the media/reveal color => your car not as special.

Here is the bmw color.....thats special.

I disagree. IMO the Camaro is best in White.

Mixing BMW and Chevrolet brings a few thoughts to mind.

Is it possible to get a metallic white? There are the pearlescent whites that look good, but I would go for less pearl with a little metallic. My 2 cents

If you were going for crimson, those pics look crimson as hell haha.

Sorry that fell through. Will you be eligible for the GM design award next year? Will you be able to get a booth next year when the car is all finished?

Agreed on that, this car is the definition of custom, shouldn't be just "white"

I agree on not using white. You have put too much work into this car to paint it a color that you can buy off the showroom floor. And honestly that fender doesn't look far off from what you wanted to me.
