[QUOTE=Silver2SSRS6spd; Now the big question, which side of the intercooler does this go on and is it easy to get to with the system installed. Another question, did you mean heat exchanger or the actual intercooler under the supercharger?[/QUOTE]

Brass plug is on top of intercooler, right side. Easy to get to, especially if you remove the two top radiator bolts and lean the entire assembly aft.

Good Luck, Randy!!!

Can't wait to see how it goes!

My only advise is don't be surprised, or disappointed if you don't finish it today. Take your time, and you'll have a monster in the garage by the end of the day tomorrow!!

Thanks, that was my problem. Randy probably doesn't have to worry about this unless the previous installer didn't install it either. Better check your's Randy, it's on the top front left side of the heat exchanger.

Thanks to Kwaz1335, I think I found my small leak that could have turned into a disaster if the plastic cap would have popped off in flight. I guess it's smart to advise against cracking a mini-keg open during installation, that's when we installed the heat exchanger and we probably were close to the end of the keg.

Off for another test drive with laptop in tote.

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I did mean the heat exchanger; already answered. No problem and, I hope all works out for you. PQ...I noticed the pulley on the supercharger driveshaft is missing in your pics...was it included?

Another thing I was thinking about...I would reccomend a quality catch can. If you already have one; I have intructions on how to hook it up to your Maggie with pictures I took. With a blower you are more prone to have oil blow by in the PCV valve system. Good luck

Ok. Update. Finally got the engine cover off. Whew............ this is tough.

I been screwing off and preparing my garage plus had to go get all my stuff. Wasn't easy finding an inch pound wrench.
But I'm on it now. Got a pc here in the garage. I was gonna set up a web cam but I don't have one. lol

Got them. Thank you. I had it all but the heating of the pulley. So it is a big help.

Actually, I just spent the passed few hours changing the fittings on all of my compressor hoses and valves.

I'm actually just now getting to the job.

It's on the way. Tims helper misplaced it. But I"m ordering the 3.6 from Jessica so it will be Wed.-ish before I get it.

Another thing is to make sure they gave you the smaller idler pulley to replace the one on our car now.

That was purely if you wanted some extra info on the install, but with all of the help you have on here from your Camaro 5 brothers (and sisters) they have you well covered.

Even then I kinda doubt it. May be the weekend. I have an advertising phone conference and we bowl tomorrow night, but I'll be plugging away when I'm free to. hahaha

Ah. Cool. Ya, the previous owner had Tim install it. And one thing is for damn sure. I got resources.

Few quick notes. DAMN the radiator drained slow. And I forgot to crack my windows a little before I unplugged the battery. First time I had to get in the car....... slam...... hit the top of my window on the seal. lol

Took the advice and got the hose clamp pliers. Easy as pie. lol

My dogs loved the radiator fluid. I guess they just wanted something different.
