Pads better than XR1/XR3 w/ ZL1 caliper?
Anyone have a pad they like more than Cobalt Friction XR1/XR3 with a higher temp range capability for ZL1 caliper? Stickier tires have gotten me to the limits of what they can do even with brake ducts. I'm close to replacement and debating a different direction but want to hear from people who've also run these. I really want to cut weight but finances and the difficulty of storage of stock parts such as seats is a limiting factor right now. It's annoying running with cars that weigh 1k lbs less.

Many will recommend the Hawk DTC 70 front/60 rear as an adequate brake pad. Also, consider the G Loc brand from JPSS online. They are a bit more expensive but the wear and rotor friendliness is excellent. https://www.jpssonline.com/p-20-2012...-by-g-loc.aspx

I've not been impressed with anything Hawk related, I'll probably go Porterfield then maybe Gloc. It might not matter if I get stationed overseas.
