I just love how you:
1. Estimate an SS to be 40k when Scott has REPEATEDLY stated they (GM) would be insane to price it in that price bracket, and the actual price range will be very close to a Mustang GT (high 20s to low 30s). -and- 2. Make your mind up about the value of ANY car before you actually see it in person, sit in it, touch it, feel it, and most importantly, DRIVE IT!. I thought Scott already waved his magic wand and made everyone who cried about a 40k sticker or made their mind up about the car before even actually seeing it in person dissappear |

Unfortunately, when dealers first get there greedy wittle hands on the 1st Camaros, there MIGHT be a dealer mark up, so 40 g's might be a reality at least for the first year, unfortunately, :(

I'm on my meal break, so I haven't taken the time to read any of the posts, but man, does that car look good!! Silver is definitely a good PR color for the Camaro for Chevy (even though I'm still getting Imperial Blue). And I don't know if they changed it much or something, but to anyone who says the SS bumper doesn't look good, these pics just HAVE to change your mind...
Bravo, Chevrolet!!!!

[/QUOTE] I was one who preferred the V6 fascia, but I've got to admit that these photos have changed my mine. Now, if there was just some way to delete the goofy looking shark fin antenna I'd be happy. Bob |

Silver just makes the lines of the car stand out, for me there has been no other color choice except silver...(my username, my car in my avatar) I do like Black but Black is not a color, it is a commitment

To those who think the production SS looks too different from the concept, and I know it's already been said by Scott and many others, but regulations required several changes. Personally, I think the Camaro team did an AMAZING job considering what had to be done to make it street legal.
On top of that, I don't know who here has actually sat in, much less driven, the concept, but I'm sure in all of their testing and designing, the Camaro team made some changes simply for day-to-day driving reasons. I personally have never seen the concept in person, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a pain to drive as a daily driver (blind spots and what not). I'm sure Scott could comment, if he hasn't already. Regardless, everyone here has to be able to at least admit that this Camaro is quite possibly the closest any company has ever come to making the production car look like the concept...
