Installing a Cog Drive on my Maggie, anyone done it?

I just picked up an OD Cog Drive from Supercharger Connection and in my conversation with Jessika she mentioned that the Fuel Rail needs to be clearanced about 3mm or I could've bought one already clearanced. I chose to save the $165 and attempt it myself sice she said it's fairly easy to do with a Dremmel.

Has anyone done this before and any tips would be appreciated.

I did it. Just mount the gear and mark the fuel rail on each side and use a dremmel to grind it down flat. I only needed to take about an 1/8 inch off. Took about 15 min. It helps to see the one done already for reference.

It is fairly simple. Just make sure you keep the angle correct so you don't have to take quite as much off.

With the larger cog on that side it's pretty easy to see what you will need to do. I used the crown of the rail as my reference and kept the drimmel at about a 45* angle.

Just make sure you have enough room for the belt to expand before you call it good.

I'll try to get a "good cell phone pick to post for ya.

It will have to be tomorrow. Car left on a tow truck for the shop to get the tranny pulled again.

I have to go by tomorrow on my way to and from work so I'll try to get a couple of good pics for you. I checked my install pics and none of them have a good enough reference.

Nothing thank GOD! The nipple that the clutch line connects to @ the firewall cracked causing all my fluid to vacate the system and my clutch pedal to stick to the floor. For the sake of this thread, we'll say I was going 5 over the posted speed limit. My buddies shop just called and said the tranny was ok so I can breathe a little better now.

The slave cylinder went out two weeks ago and I was expecting the worst. I get her back tomorrow instead of having to go just get pic's.

You will have all the angles I can get tomorrow.
