You could wire the bright side of the DIC through the NC contacts of a relay that is driven by the signal bright circuit. Then connect the dim side to the normal sidemarker circuit. When the signal goes bright, it will energize the relay, the markers would go dim and have an alternating effect with the factory signals. It would probably be easiest to use a relay locally at each marker.

I got a little bored today so I decided to fire up a space heater in the man cave and do some spraying! I painted the Hex vent splash trays with high temp engine enamel and the screws with black automotive enamel (ran out of high temp). As long as I was at it I decided to remove my RX catch can to have a rub mark replaired and touch up the bracket. The rub on the catch can was from when I originally installed it was too close the the pulley. There isn't much room there wedged in next to the Vararam! So I'm going to relocate it over to the area of the stock intake and use one of the mounting bolts.
