Electronic Parking brake Question

Is the electronic brake an E break or a parking break?

For example if I were to engage the electronic brake at driving speeds, what would happen?

I guess you've not read the owners manual as it's all clearly laid out in there and you would not be here asking that question if you had. Start reading at page 218.

You can download a pdf copy of the owners manual from chevrolet.com. I don't have a 6th gen yet and have read the manual a few times already.

Well the OP has his car. Plus I don't have my car yet, and I was able to find a manual on the Internet.
