You would need a 15" conversion and some sticky rubber and some suspension adjustments

Let me start by saying I'm FAR from an expert on anything, certainly not on tires!! I respectfully have also noticed similar with +100hp less, while test driving after installing a few new mods in like temps (rare warm winter days here). Are you getting some heat into the tires first? I know it's FL and all, but I believe you have mid 50-60F winter weather days and that might have something to do with it if on summer rubber? Get some warmer sunny days to heat that asphalt and the tires, it might be a totally different experience with the animal? Maybe it will still not be enough to hook and you know it, hence the question. lol Needless to say I'm jealous of your weather (winter too) and the Whipple!!! And of course do what they said....

TL/DR- get better tires and don't just stomp the throttle.

I can get my stock Z to spin it's tires all the way through 1st and 2nd and "chirp" 3rd: Sport mode under 60F all nannies on with a passenger.

So to get it to hook, my stock Goodyears have to be hot and I have to ease into it, or use touring or track modes.

I would expect a boosted SS to be similar.

Positive displacement blowers make ALOT of torque right off idle. It hits the tire hard and can overwhelm the things in a hurry.

I'd use launch control if you are on street tires and not stock. Especially on a FI car.

im not sure about a launch control on the car? I have the A8 tranny. With regards to cheater slicks or years ago that's what folks called them. I don't know what size wheel and tire combo for the rear. The front is ok; skinnies would help with rt. more than likely. I am in Northwest florida nd the winter temps can approach freezing however the4 rest of the year is beautiful. Theres a local 1/8 mile track in Milton florida that I would like to try. Just dont want it to be a waste of time. I love to drive fast. lol

With that much power you're gonna need drag radials at the strip, for the street what size are you running?
Can you step it up to zl1 size rears, 305s

I've got a set of CHEAP 17x9.5" +38mm wheels, with 305/45 ET Street S/S on them. I have VERY little rubbing issues. I could stick a 3mm spacer on the car and be just fine, an never have to move the wiring harness on the driver side.

When you installed the blower did you think you would be able to with street tires? You just added 150 rwhp and it is hard to get a stock motor to hook at 400 rwhp. You won't until you put drag radials on it and take it to the track, its not gonna happen on the street even with a drag radial.

Beings you've got an auto there might be some tuning you could do to the tranny and torque management? Aside from that you last resort will be to adjust your driving to the new power on the street and DR at the strip. Enjoy it sir

Thanks to everyone for their responses. Has anyone seen the Carlyle calipers for the rear? I guess I would need to get those or weld has a rear wheel that says it fits as well. Not sure but first things first. I need a new alternator? Mine went bad.
