I just cleaned my SLP BlackWing air filter this afternoon. Spray outside with cleaning solvent..let sit for several minutes..and then rinse from inside out with medium flow/pressure water. NEVER high pressure water or air. Sat filter on paper towels by fan to dry over night. This is a "DO NOT OIL" filter element. :-)

You are correct, it is listed as a "Dry" reusable filter which mean you can clean it but not to oil, un like some filters that do require you to oil. Thanks, Don
