That is a great new facility that is local to us but there isn't a 1/4 mile strip there.

also people must take in account is that high profile tracks might not let certain cars run...some have tight inspections...would suck for a lot of people to get booted for running mid 11 with no cage..also m6 needs bulletproof bellhousing in 11secs, ...remember the big multi million dollar tracks could be sticklers for details...takes all the fun out of it...also big cities can have po po that has no compasion for the average camaro guy...small cities with good tracks and friendly small towns looking for $$$$, is def the way to go...imo

What concerns me is the weather for the northern states. If camaro5 plans on keeping the same time frame, then there may still be snow on the ground.

What about Texas?

So you're saying it's a good idea to ignore safety rules?

How cool will it be if something bad happens and someone is seriously hurt? NHRA puts those regs in place for a reason....YOUR SAFETY as well as the safety of the other drivers and spectators.

Come on man.

Has to have a 1/4 mile track, plenty of room for vendors, plenty of room for autocross, plenty of room for car show parking.

Plus, weather has to be perfect. If that means it being up north then we'd have to consider moving it to later May, ...maybe June.... I'm just thinking out loud here. But...

moving it to late may/ or june may be a very good idea
for sure it'll help students like me attend. Sure I went to this one but I was doing homework each night :(. Plus it'll work for some of the teacher crowd to attend

not complaining about Texas, but I find it funny that if it were held in East Texas I'd drive further to attend that than I did for going to Chandler
