I gotta get approval from the HOA. Then I gotta get confirmation that I will get the fest booked.

I can make it work. Just need to get the official booking from Camaro5 to commit to my house for C5FIII and it's a go. LMAO

How about NJ, there is ATCO Dragstrip, http://atcoraceway.com/directions.php , It is just east of Philly, not sure if its big enough or not. Im up in NY and i was hoping the next one would be a little closer to the Northeast more.

Maybe someone said this , but isnt there a racepark track in like missouri or ill that was built recently. I wanna say gateway , but maybe not. Im sure this is a very hard decision for the c5 team as they would love to make everyone happy , but im sure either way its gonna be awesome and we'll be there !

If I had to guess, I'd say a location in the central Northeast will be where it ends up. Probably don't want to go too far into one corner of the states.

IF... it doesn't end up at my house.

What about Mid-Ohio? Don't know if there is a drag strip or dedicated autox spot close enough, but the road course is a thrill - anybody from that area know what would be available and close enough to Columbus?

Went to a BMW annual event one year and Columbus was where the hotel and vendors were staged. BTW, notice I'm from TX so I'd have to drive too and I'd 'vote' for a May event schedule over an April.

Actually I mentioned it, but a dragstrip is a little bit of a trip (approx 45min) at least the ones I know of.... not that I care though. I have done a few days with my bike (avatar) and one with my camaro. I am organizing another day in Oct http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130024

It has camping, autox, road coarse, trials, plenty of room for vendors and parking obviously.... but no dragstrip

Here is another roadcourse track in Joliet less then a mile from the Autobahn club. Sure it might be a little small but look at the speeds!
