I tried to tell ya twice

My main beef with Indy is this, It has rained here for two weeks. I don't think it rained while I was away for the fest, but it's definitely in my mind. But now that I think about it, this entire region has been hammered with rainfall this month.

I don't know why I was thinking Indy as in the Brickyard....probably because we were just there in 08' at the unveil and that's all that was on my mind. See...this is why I LOVE pictures and links. The more we get the better it is include/exclude right off the bat. Personally, I think this could be one to add to the list of 10 (just using 10 as an example).

But yeah....like the layout so far...

Thanks Chase and that's exactly what I was referring to, O'Reilly Raceway Park which has Lucas as one of its primary sponsors. The have all you mentioned and yes, they can operate them all at once. Its a real nice facility and has under gone major renovation since O'Reilly took it over. Its a major player in the world of auto racing! Lot of hotels in and around the Speedway area which is just east of the park, in between O'Reilly and IMS.

Has Route 66 Raceway, Joliet, IL been brought up? Just did a quick google search. It looks to have an oval track and drag strip, but not sure if there's room for auto-x. which i know is pretty much a must. But there might be room next to the drag strip?



edit: and i believe this picture was taken while the oval track was being built. i believe it's all paved now. lol

2nd edit: nevermind, i think it's a dirt oval, which is fine, we don't need it. lol

This is Pretty cool because it keeps the vendors rows and the parking right in tandem with the whole drag strip. Kinda brings it all together.
