2011 Inferno VVT NA build
Sup everyone!!!
Well after owning this car since December 2014 I finally fed the tick and dumped some coin into her. So without further a due.. The plan is to keep this a street car that will keep its streetable manners. And she will be a NA setup for now and mabye later add some spray! The install date for the parts is looking to be beginning of july. 2011 inferno Orange A6 SS/RS GPI SS2 VVT CAM PACKAGE GPI AFM/DOD delete kit BTR spring/retainer kit New 5/16th pushrods 16-LS7 lifters Comp cam phase limiter kit CR5 timing chain Melling HP oil pump JBA LT 1-7/8th headers,w/JBA midpipe Comp cam trunion kit HP tuners FTI 3800 stall converter B&M supercooler trans cooler/ all braided lines and fittings B&M trans dipstick 8 new plugs All new gaskets and bolts for cam install MSD plug wires SLP loudmouth deletes (already on the car) BMR 1.25 drop (already on the car) Cold Air Inductions intake (already on car) All these parts are in my back room and it's killing me having to look at them everyday!! Lol I can't wait!! Thinking about doing the Flex fuel setup as well but I think I will need bigger injectors. Anyways I will try and keep this post up to date with the install!! Would love input into things you think might help me. The end goal is to be able to tick off a 10.99 1/4 mile pass one day! Lol assuming I get a good set of tires!! Haha |

Nice, good luck with your build. Love my GPI ss2, if 10s were the goal they would have been much more attainable with a ss3.

If it was a M6 i would take a crack at it but I have never touched a tranny tune so I'm leaning toward having Rhino, or formatto doing the tune. And yeah I was looking at the SS3 but after speaking to ryan it wouldn't be as streetable as I wanted. (Low rpms stumbles and such) he told me they had a ss1 setup with heads and full weight with a weld drag pack run 11.30's so I'm hoping with the ss2 heads, tb, intake manifold and some more tweaks I can break that barrier. If not spray it is!! Lol.

Yea ryan is going to do my tune. I always had tampa tuning do it when I lived in Tampa but now that I'm closer to GPI gonna go see what they can do.
