Revving it to 4k is already sweet, isn't it, though ? You can also go full juvenile with some tunnel or bridge runs, I know a friend who does that

Yeah and so is tracking your car, these cars are made for stress, live a little.

I led a Camaro cruise to Road America this spring, and we got to go on the track for a photo op and slow lap around. There is a tunnel you drive thru to access the track, so I popped it in neutral and gave it a nice big rev, and most of the 20+ cars behind me followed suit. Maybe a bit juvenile, but it sure sounded neat hearing all the Camaros revving. 😀

You cannot rev the auto Mustang GT either, at least not the 2018+ models. There is the same rev limiter in place when the car is in park or neutral. The GT350 (Voodoo) is manual, that's why you can rev it.

There's a short tunnel in the smokies on the way to Gatlinburg from Townsend. Coasting through there, people on the side of the river taking pics and enjoying the serenity and here comes Joe-Camaro in the SS hitting the clutch and snapping the throttle to play the bears, owls, and tourists a chord from the "song of my people"

It's more of a murmur now in the ZL1 with the A10... sorta like "5 more minutes, mom!" It's about the only thing I miss about having a manual at the moment.

You guys don't just sit in your driveway and rev the crap out of your Camaros?

2-Step rev will work.

Also put the car in neutral

Then again my car was tuned so maybe the rev limiter was removed.
