It's got all the right performance stuff on it. But I did laugh at the only drove it to the grocery store and to church. My '87 iroc had the bare metal repaint paid for by GM. Did this have it as well?

Change out the engine and watch the interest/price plummet.
Your best bet is to keep everything as stock as possible if you want to bring the most $$. There may be 4 or 5 people that would pay more for an LS engine, and it's pricey to do up front, so then you need to recoup THAT money as well...fugg that. If you're going to do the swap, then keep the car. Market is soft already. No need to put more marshmallows in it. JMO. Oh, and free bump by the way. If I didn't have 3 Camaros already, I'd consider this one...I like it.

The 5.7L the OP has is perfect the way it is. I'm not recommending the LS swap to him. Like I said the 5.7TPI and the 5.0TPI/5speed are the two most desirable drivetrains in the thirdgens. Only thing better is if they have the G92, or 1LE. I was talking to the guy who has the 5.0TPI/auto he says he can't give away. The 5.0 with an auto was a bad combo and useless for anything but cruising. I had an 88 TA with that combo.
