M6 camaro and m6 chevy ss sedan owner

I bought a 2015 ss sedan last year and he already put a mgw shifter in it and gave me the stock shifter also. Anyone drive both cars in manual form? I am putting a clutch in the camaro soon and was wondering is the ss sedan shifter shorter thrown than a stock camaro ss shifter. Or not worth the time to swap. On a side note the camaro has 50k on it and the stock ss sedan shifter has maybe 5k

Ss sedan stock shifter is similar to the stock camaro shifter. I swapped to the zl1 shifter in my sedan. Works great.
