Not sure who you're addressing with this comment. In my case the APR wing is very adjustable for angle of attack and removable end plates that can be swapped for various size plates.

Gurneys (or 'wickers') - a means of adding downforce for surprisingly little drag penalty. Has the effect of adding a vertical component to the velocity at the trailing edge. This deflects the flow upwards, and increases the downforce. The Gurney also slows the flow down ahead of itself which increases the static pressure ahead of it also adding an increment of downforce. I believe if you actually run close to 10/10ths on a high speed track you will find a significant difference in how the car sticks with and without the wickerbill. You can call it useless if you want but there's a whole lot of data out there that says you're incorrect. I personally spent some time in 2014 with one of the Z/28 engineers and he felt that the addition of the wicker to the Z/28 spoiler developed enough downforce to make a difference. Also see the earlier referenced test article with Randy Pobst's opinion. I don't think anyone is arguing that a wing will not develop more downforce than the Z/28 spoiler and wicker but at the time the car was designed that's what was used for whatever reason (sanctioning body rules, production cost, appearance). Both the Gen 6 ZL1-1LE and the GT-4R have wings. That should tell you that Chevy has determined that they are better than a trunk mounted spoiler. As far as the ZL1-1LE wing, does that wing have adjustable angle of attack? Looking at the version that ACS is selling for over $4000 it appears it has a fixed angle of attack. You will spend less money on an adjustable wing that you can also change end plates on unless you're just in it for the "cool" look. Bottom line. If you can afford to add a well engineered adjustable wing to your car, go for it. You will get more downforce but may significantly unbalance the car without other compensations. Also plan on dropping $2000+ to do this. The wicker will add downforce that is sufficient for a lot of people for a whole lot less money. This last piece will probably piss some of you off, but... Advice for most people out there: Learn how to drive your car with what you have, i.e. forget about all the mods until you've learned the limits of your car then add more horsepower, more downforce, etc.

I recognize that my car is not a Z/28, but I am currently in the process of having the ZL1-1LE Wing (purchased for $1,475) put onto my 2015 2LT.
If I beat you to it, I'll post pictures here so you can get an idea for how it looks.

So does the Reiter Camaro GT3 car, along with interesting front end, lots of small diveplanes rather than one large one as seems to be favoured by GM/Pratt Miller...
not exactly but over 90lbs so far. Still some big ticket items to come like lithium battery. I'll be sure to get it on some cornerweight scales when I'm done |

I believe the wicker bill was designed for our cars running at Road America, Nurburgring and such big tracks alike. I remember reading somewhere about it.
It starts to work around 70mph but the effects seem to start at 35mph. My Z has it and I can tell you makes a difference, especially at RA. |

If you install the ZL1/1LE wing onto a 5th gen you will need to reinforce the trunk lid. There's a bulletin out from GM saying that the 2016/2017 trunks needs to also be reinforced to avoid buckling under the high downforce.

From 6LE Designs, with 30% off!
I've been in touch with Mark, the business owner, and he molded the OEM spoiler for his reproductions, so they are completely faithful to the original design. http://6ledesigns.com/product/2016-c...-carbon-fiber/
