So was searching on the web for lifts and came across this thread. Worth bringing it back to life, Camaro 5 helpful again!
Also came across this site for ALI certified lifts if anybody is looking for "safe certified lifts". https://www.autolift.org/ali-directo...hsubmit=Search

I wish my ceiling height was "normal" but my garage was an add-on so it ended up with just under 8 feet... ugh.
I've been looking at the Quick Jack as well- they just seem so expensive for something so simple. Even with low ceiling height, getting the car up in the air three feet would be really useful... or raise it up, put jack stands in there and pull the jacks out. I have an old XKE which is really difficult to deal with as far as putting it on stands or jacking, so a drive-on would be fantastic- just difficult because of thin slab, low ceiling height etc.
