Valentine One mount can't handle the power...

What are you guys using for mounts for your V1? Clearly, the normal suction mount can't handle the g-force under acceleration. I don't really want the blendmount deal.

Mine stays stuck no problem, but I have it above the mirror driver side at very top.

That is exactly where I have mine as well, but when I get on it the radar detector swings back off the windshield quite severely. It doesn't fall off but it no longer faces forward.

I have a mount for the rearview mirror. I don't have a V1 but it should work the same...

Mine is up to the left of mirror on stock pieces. Might want to windex where the suction cups stick. Or get new suction cups. Mine doesn’t go anywhere at stock levels.

Except for the one where the cop says, "Nice looking radar detector. Here's your ticket."

One reason why I could never live in VA. If I did, I'd have to drive a Prius or something.

No problems with mine. Clean the window and the cups.
