Good pictures Tyler! I'd better not show my wife or she will get homesick. She loves the Bluebonnets and has several pictures of our kids sitting in them...kind of like you posed your car

We had a great visit with Eric and his wife when they came through Fort Myers on their way back to the auto train near Orlando to take them back home to Pennsylvania. Perhaps Eric will post some pictures.

Last week I got my CAI cold air induction. WOW...even my wife likes the roar it makes.

Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be getting cat back exhaust and a catch can (thanks to Eric for pointing out that I needed one. Prior to seeing his, I was fat dumb and happy.)

I hope the other TPW 11/14 guys start posting how they're getting along with their cars

Jerry, how are the new mods working out got any pics and can you feel more pickup with the new Cold Air Intake?

Hi Eric, I haven't made any mods since you were here except the Cold Air Induction (CAI, inc). I don't know if I'm actually feeling extra horsepower, but the sound when you put your foot in it is AMAZING. I highly recommend cold air induction. It's supposed to save fuel too, but that hasn't been the case with me because I push down on that right pedal as often as I can just to hear the roar




The next thing I'll do will be cat back exhaust and hope to have it on early next month.

Have you heard about the "recall" for the convertible tops? If not, see http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213980. If you can't find the TSB there, let me know and I'll email it to you. I went to my account on OnStar this morning and they are calling it a recall.

Hi guys - great to see a few of us have been having some fun! I just finished the Solo cat back and hi-flow cat install tonight (I LOVE the new sound), along with the skip shift eliminator. I neglected to take any photos, but I did take some video to post soon (i did a short before and after from about 8 feet behind the car). In doing this, I discovered my Technostalgia LED taillights have a couple issues - one only noticable on start up (the first replacement light does a cool display upon startup - but the others don't), and one bad assembly (3 LEDs quit lighting - the second time this has happened since install). Videos will be up as soon as I figure out how to post them.

When it is light out and the car is clean I will take some photos to post.

I hesitated doing this work because I have a vert, but I decided to go ahead anyway and enjoy it. I do have a few top issues, but they will get fixed some time down the road.

Hi Eric - I didn't notice so much with just the CAI, but it does "feel" different now with the exhaust added. Certainly sounds much louder and like a muscle car should sound (to me)! At cruising speed (city or highway) it sounds great - not much louder than stock - but you sure notice it when you touch the gas pedal! The idle drone from the stock exhaust is gone too.

I did get the exhaust installed. I sent two videos via emails of the results. Tried to post them here but I'm on vacation in East Texas and couldn't figure out how to attach them with my iPad.

I also sent you a picture of the retro Chevy rally wheels I want to buy next. I am working on the wife now...being awful nice to her. Easier to have her agreement beforehand rather than put up with the flack if they suddenly materialized on my car. On the otherhand, do you think she'd notice?

No dought wives notice everything! If I where you I would do some odd jobs to make the extra cash for the wheels. Then she cant say "its not in the budget", which should be her only complaint.

It wouldn't make any difference if I went out and busted ass to get more money...she'd still think manicures are more important than wheels. Did you get the videos?
