Installing JBA NON catted MIDPIPES

I got these for free so I'm installing them on my L99. I do have a JRE TUNE but not for the JBAs. My question is will I notice any difference in power once I take off the stock cats and put these on? Granted I know there not LT headers so I won't go there.

Also I have a muffler delete on this camaro with XPIPE and CAI.. Does anyone have video on the sound of these non carted pipes I can't find any video anywhere

I have longtubes with no cats and cutouts before the mufflers. I still have stock resonators. It's very loud but a good sound. If you don't have the resonators anymore it's going to be really raspy.

on a FI car, they make the same power a long tube does almost for a fraction of the money (long tubes don't make that much gain...I've asked for people to prove they did, and no one showed me any proof by dyno with the long tubes added and no pulley or tune change done). the only way they won't is if you start throwing in big cam profiles and head work or boost in excess of 10psi.
on a NA car, I still think long tubes will have a more noticeable gain over the cat deletes. they are still a horsepower gain though...and yes, you want Ted to update the tune.

yeah but it will cost 160 for a updated tune from Ted
so ill just run it with out a tune until next year smog is due then maybe ill get the tune to turn off the light .

It won't hurt it. It still won't pass a sniffer test.
