Didn't Reuss say in an interview that they would not make any Camaro a 2 seater since they already have the Vette?

The rear seat in the Z/28 is a light weight version. It has no real frame and no folding mechanism. I think it is suppose to save 9 pounds. From the Car and Driver story on the Z/28...

I think it was said that the back seat frame was 29 lbs.

...OK, I'm past getting used to new technology, break neck speed product advancements, real time digital communication, and how fast things come at us <being an older challenged guy>....but, I am getting close to experiencing an anxiety attack waiting for the final dislcosure on this thing that we have begged for quite some time.....enter that Z!!!

That's just it....the Trofeo's on the Z28 are NOT a mod, they are standard equipment. Same as the GY's are on the ZL-1. GM isn't interested in the least in what their cars can do with other than OEM supplied rubber.

I mean mod by part of the changes they made from a ZL1 or other Camaro.

No matter what, the Z28 is going to be an awesome performer. I'm hoping the price isn't going to be sky high so more of us could afford one.

http://buyersguide.caranddriver.com/...ette-z06/specs The better balance of 11" in the front and rear will give the Z/28 less understeer and a more balanced cornering stance. However the curb weight of the Z06 at 3175 lbs is something to contend with. It will definitely be faster in the straights.
