Not slip-on, but I try to run Talon Grips on all my firearms.

Thanks.
I find the recoil to be very manageable on the 45. 45 recoil is just different then a 9mm or 40. I prefer the 45 but 9mm is so much more economical to shoot.

agreed. I find myself sweeping the safety on my striker fired guns when there is no safety. Good habit to have i guess.

Granular or rubber? I think I might have a bit of skateboard grip tape I could cut to shape...

Does anyone have a slip on grip for their pistol? If so who makes it and do you like it?
You can shoot 9mm out of a 357/40 magazine until you get dedicated magazines. You might also be aware the ejector on the 9mm and 40 have slightly different angles. I didn't have any issues with it though.

I prefer the rubber texture.

I use the magazine from the .40 when I use the 9 mm barrel with no issues. I had a cheap slip on rubber grip but removed it when it bunched up. Magazines are on e-bay for $22.

I've never had a FTE from mine.

Didnt know the .40 magazines would work well enough. I'll give them a shot on Sunday along with either a rubber slip on grip or some skateboard grip tape strips and see how it goes. Getting 9mm magazines tomorrow (can only get 10 rounders in MD...) just in case

Neither have I but thought I'd throw it out. If you look around, you can find LE trade in mags for around $12 each.

I'll be heading to a gun show today. Hoping to find some magazines for my Springfield XD and my Ruger M30 on the cheap. The mags for the Springfield 9mm are around $40 each, which is pricey. The Ruger 20 round 7.62x39 are around $35 each. Hoping to spot some for around half the price. Too bad no one makes a nice reliable 30 round mag for the M30.

Ammunition cost was the deciding factor for my next firearm purchase.

I was dead set on getting a 1911 as my first pistol after seeing the photos here and seeing all the praise they garner everywhere. I will own one eventually.

But, I realized that for a first pistol; one that I plan to put a lot of rounds through in order to develop skill and technique; that it probably isn't the best choice. Expensive ammunition and much higher price tags for a good 1911.

As such I decided that I'm going to buy the stainless Beretta m92 FS. Affordable, reliable, accurate, and cheaper 9mm ammunition. I know that this gun seems to get a lot of hate.... But, it feels like the right choice.

I get about 10 rounds before they start flying out of the magazine. Here in CommiFornia you're only allowed 10 or they are afraid you'll put your eye out or go on a shooting rampage.

I personally love the Beretta M9A1. Can't wait to fondle the new M9A3.

Haha I'll give the magazines a shot then and see if they start popping rounds out after 10

I don't know if gun shops around here still offer police magazines from traded in guns because of the 10 round limit here as well. Definitely going to check with one shop though that I know used to do that
