What Oil Comes in the V6???

I was wondering what oil comes in the V6, i heard in the V8 that its mobil one but i believe i heard someone say in the v6 its dino oil...what exactly is the dino oil, where do you get it? if you change the oil at 500 miles should you put dino oil back in it until its broken in? i plan on using amsoil and am wondering at what intervals to change the oil in to begin and what oil to use until i start using the amsoil and what mileage i can use the amsoil

Don't know which brand ,but it is dino oil. Dino oil is regular oil, not a synthetic or synthetic blend.

I think you will get a LOT of opinions and you can look around at posts about oil changes. I plan to change mine at 500 miles and then again at 1000 and 3000. Then go to a more regular schedule. At 1000 I will probably go over to full syn from dino.

Yea that oil is lame change it out after 500 at least. Put Mobile 1 or Royal Purple.

Maybe even try the brand new Royal Purple Break-In oil.

Amen to that. I've read posts about Mobil 1 in the V6 as well, but the manual does not state it has Mobil 1. It does talk about the V8 as well (same manual for both cars) and it does state Mobil 1 in that engine.
Not sure where the idea came from that the V6 has Mobil 1. My dealers shop manager stated that if it had Mobil 1 (or a synthetic blend) it'd state it on the fill cap and it does not.
