No way in hell i would go thru a car wash, and let the water dry on my car... I prefer the bucket of water and lots of drying by hand.

So what's wrong with going through the car wash, and wiping it down after you pull through?? That's what I do.

I just like to make sure i get everything off, and take my time making sure its done right. Car washes might not get everything, and then your drying a dirty car.

The car washes out here use filtered water in the final rinse, and even when the rare drop doesn't get blown off, it doesn't leave a mark. Aren't all car washes like that??

yes the final rinse is a spot free rinse. I use the 2 bucket wash as well but and IMO this wash does just a good. There is no "right way" just your own way...

Ive been stationed in alot of different states and havent come across a car wash that is filtered. The water is pretty hard, so it leaves alot of spots if you let it dry. I have filter on my hose at home that helps alot. I havent looked for a car wash since ive got this car.

Ya i get it you dont like car washes...eitherway the video wasnt meant to critique car washing methods. Ive used this wash off and on since i bought the car in 09. and considering its far from being a garage queen and see's plenty of track time,I have yet to see a single water spot.

Neat video, I will not use carwashes on mine due to the stripes. It can and will lift stripes at times. I have seen it too many times. The water pressure lifts the stripes and the air makes it worse. Once it starts, you cannot just drive out, you have to watch your stripes get ruined. No stripes ok on a touchfree, stripes get handwashed only.

Lol case worked flawless. However this was not the first water test I gave it. Was a little concerned the water pressure may force water in the case but it held up fine.

I concur.....who cares if someone wants to use a car wash.....I mostly use a hose and bucket as well, but have ran it through the car wash here and there. It's common knowledge that you will still have quite a bit of water left over. Therefore, you bring towels to get the rest....
Keep doing what you do Ryan.
