Angry Bolt is rubbing in engine bay. Solution?

Since I have the insulator and the plenum spacer, that back bolt is rubbing that metal part right behind the hood. When I drive, it sounds really bad. I was thinking about putting a piece of rubber between them, but I am scared it'll melt or something. Does anybody have any idea what I could do?

I would take the bolt out, but that is a lot of work just to do that. Just wanted to see if there was an easier solution.

let me know!

My advice is take the plenum spacer off!

It's "potential" benefit is to prevent the knock sensors from pulling timing- and you can bet the knock sensors are going crazy everytime that bolt starts rockin' on the bonnet!

Do you really need that bolt? think of it as weight reduction.

If you listen closely, I recorded the sound. It drives me nuts. I was driving so I am sorry that my exhaust kicks in.

ohh ok. Well there is a bolt on the back (towards the console inside the car) that you should not install. It seems worth it at first but there are many people who complained about this. I was warned, and now I regret doing it.
