Aug 1-2 Ultimate Street Car Association @ Portland Raceway

http://driveusca.com/events/portland-or-aug-1-3/

Are any of you camaro5 members going? I'm driving up from California, I have already competed in two of their events this year and had a blast. I think the guys from JDP are going to be there, they were killing it down in Fontana, CA.

If you have any questions on the event feel free to ask, I'll try to help.

I am going to try and be there as a spectator. For sure I will be there Friday. Looking forward to seeing all the cool cars.

Looks pretty cool. How much does it cost to watch?

It's free to watch though it's not really "open to the public", sometimes they charge $10 for a pit pass. Tell them your bringing gas for #32 and they'll let you in. PM me if you want my cell so I can get you in.

Admission is $15. The Chump car series is going on those same days. $15 gets you into both! I'm going Friday. Saturday is the Columbia river camaro club cruise in at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet. 10am-2pm

I need to get my tires remounted and balanced before the race, do you locals have any recommendations?

America's tire or a Les Schwab have done good to me. They also have the most modern equipment.

Yup, headed over to Les Schwab, tried calling the race shop near the track and they were too busy and pretty rude.
