Monster LT1-S & lightweight flywheel

Anyone using the LT1-S clutch and the 18# flywheel? Just wondering how it drives on the street.

I just purchased an LT1-S triple. It is only offered with the heavier flywheel. I was considering the twin disc, as well, so I did a shitload of research on this.

Basically, it seems that if you are going to daily it, or drive regularly outside of a track environment, you need to get the heavier flywheel. You'll have to rev up higher to get going with the lighter flywheel, and it's not very friendly at all with regards to street manners. If you're keeping it up in the higher end of the revs with much regularity, then you'd be good to grab that lighter one.

I also read a few things from folks who did buy the lighter one, and regretted it. Just do a good bit of reading here and on LS1tech and you'll be able to reach the conclusion that will fit you best

Two years ago, I changed the clutch to my 2010 SS - a notorious clutch pedal defect, and I used the LS7 clutch kit.
Many people praise this set, but also complained of a lot of weight.

That's why I compare the flywheel at the lathe, reduced of weight it and re-balanced it.

I have no problem, because I still have a weight slightly higher than the original set.

But I wonder what show a light flywheel on car.
Is it possible to make a link?

My work...

Before
Of course, he was balanced, but he was very crooked.

After...
It is now balanced and straight.
