Thanks. Can I just replace the tps within the throttle body then? Since it’s a ported throttle body I’d prefer to try to just replace what’s malfunctioning. If so, do you recommend an oem replacement or a different brand?

I don't believe these are serviceable, you would replace the body itself. OEM or high quality aftermarket. The cheap aftermarkets are proven to be pretty much junk more often than not.

P2135 could also be the throttle pedal, 2101 I believe is just the throttle body. I had the issue last year and ended up replacing both the pedal and the throttle body to resolve it, I bought both parts from a GM dealership. I probably only needed to do the throttle body, but the pedal was cheaper so I replaced it first, just in case.

Also, some good info in this thread if it's not the throttle body, could be a wiring issue, I bookmarked this thread when I was working on it:

I remember that. You should go back and update letting people know what resolved your issue.

I went ahead and ordered a pedal and throttle body, and will test each to see what the culprit was.

I didn't make that thread, but I hope the OP did resolve it. I did read them and used everyone's including your advice to solve my problem. So thanks for your responses on those threads!

As a follow up: I did go ahead and replace the tps in my ported throttle body (bought a stock throttle body and just took the entire side assembly piece). So far I’ve driven 30 miles or so and no issues so we should be good. Prior I’d get a code in less than a mile. Fingers crossed!!!

Good to know, thanks for the follow up. I hadn't taken one of these apart I wasn't sure if it was a sealed part of the throttle body.
