Hey guys, my friend and I are in a debate.

See, my friend just recently grenaded his rear end. So.... he bought a slightly use ZL1 rear end.

Now, the bolts that hold up the driveshaft, are they the same as a SS Camaro? or are they diff?

Are they diff? Hahaha. I get it. Cause he blew his diff.... I’ll have a seat now

But yea. I’m under the impression he’ll need a new drive shaft and possibly zl1 axles now to make it all work. Some one will correct me if I’m wrong though.

Get a hold of a GMPP catalog. It shows a kit, and a breakdown of all the parts to put a ZL1 driveline in an SS. The driveshaft is different, flex coupler guibo bolts are bigger on the ZL1. Trans flange is different. Axles are different.... the catalog details all the parts in the kit. Subtract what already have.

drive shaft is a different for the zl1....i would personally go with a dss 3.5 1 piece aluminum shaft.

Prop to trans bolt 11611335
Prop to RDM diff bolt 11611336

and both need washers and nuts
