Here was my start. CAI Inc. added under hood sound when you stomped on it and a little improvement in the factory lag as a bonus it increased HP +13 Added Vmax ported TB. This helped quite a bit with factory lag. Added maybe 2HP but who gives a rip. the lag is what needed to go. Added 3" Magnaflow Comp catback. Added zero HP but, improved overall sound and. Got it for dirt cheap used. These three items cut .1 ~.2 off my 1/4 times. Whoopee
Added cheap used Stainless Works 2" LT's cat delete with tune and tranny tune. Added +35RWHP and you can hear and feel that gain. It's a night and day difference over stock with those mods. Next up is the Cam & stall. |

With 2k about all you're gonna get is a nice CAI, possible catback exhaust and a tune.
I have a L99 as well and the best $500 I spent was on that tune. It made a HUGE difference in how it drove afterwards. |

This is what I was thinking
http://www.juicedmotorsports.com/201...ackagejba.html Stage 1. http://www.easttexasmusclecars.com/p...gine-packages/ Or just an Airraid CAI + Tune if I can find it cheaper. Possibly Ported TB/Manifold What are some opinions on Nitrous on stock internals? |

With this kind of budget you can easily get LT headers, CAI and a tune. It will add 40-50RWHP and the car will feel totally different in a good way. Dont waste your money on a cat back unless you just have the extra cash AFTER you do the above 3 mods. Actually I take that back. If you have the money for the cat back get a torque converter or gears instead. After you have done LT headers, CAI, tune, converter, gears, wider wheels/stickier tires, trailing arms, lowering kit THEN if you have the extra coin for the cat back go ahead and do it. Cat back adds no performance, only sound difference.
