Mark your calendars!!!! Texas Camaro Revolution is April 7-9 in San Antonio. Host hotel and venues will be announced shortly. This years events will include a meet and greet (which is always a blast and great food), drag racing, auto cross, car show, the awards show/blowout party, and a luncheon cruise (nothing like 100+ Camaros going down the road together). I will be attending. We had a blast at it in 2015.

I'm so ready for this. I will be putting in my request to take that Friday off from work tomorrow.

Lunch Saturday 1/21 at Torchy's
Hey all , I'm planning on meeting the two clubs at the Love's Travel Stop located at I-20 & FM 314 Van/Edom exit around 11:45. We will depart there & cruise some back roads into Tyler if you would like to join us please feel free to meet us there. Otherwise we will see you at Torchy's around 12:45 to 1:00.
Torchy's is giving us free chips & queso too!

There are going to be 30-50 Camaro's coming in, this is going to be a fun day!

There is a free car show and chili cook-off this Sunday 01/29. 2:30-5:00

All car participants will be the honorary TASTING judges.

If you’re interested in attending we will be meeting at the Dairy Queen at 1:45pm so that we can park together once we get there.

DQ located at 8850 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703 (this is the one at the new shopping center near Toll 49)

FREE CAR SHOW & CHILI doesn’t get much better than that!

Anyone interested in cruising to Palestine on Saturday 2/18? They have cruise night at the Whataburger from 4:00-6:00. Last year we met at the Brookshires located at fm 2661 & Hwy 155 then all cruised out there together!
Let me know your thoughts please...

We have 5 or 6 folks interested in going on our Facebook page, all of which are new members. Do any of you all want to go as well?

I believe it is Mardi Gras weekend and they're having a tasting festival downtown 1:30-5:30pm and a parade at 6:00.

We formed the car club on evening of 2/11/12 in Tyler Texas and I used this forum to communicate the beginning of the car club.


Its been fun and look forward to the future for our car club, Camaros of East Texas Car Club.

Since there are several members going to the Texas Camaro Revolution this weekend and others are out of town we are going to cancel the club meet Saturday 4/8/17. If there is anyone interested in going to San Antonio for the Texas Camaro Revolution we will be meeting at the Brookshires in Chandler at 8:00 AM Friday morning 4/7/17 and pulling out at 8:15. In case anyone wants to go but can't or doesn't want to go Friday Cal is going to go down Saturday morning if yall want to meet up with him and cruise together.
