Too Loud???

So, I might go LT's off road connect pipepes. get rid of factory resonator/"H" pipe, X-pipe back to borla attak.
Too loud for daily driver?
maybe just keep resonators/H? Maybe need cats?
any opinions welcome. I do like her loud thats why I put on the ataks, but dont need to be pulled over every other day

When you have a stock cam, its not bad at all. I ran LTs, no cats and straightpipes for a while and it was loud, had drone, still wasn't anything crazy.

It will be raspy without cats, but you should be fine as long as you’re not cruising by a LEO at 6k rpms.

I have arh, no cats, borla atak and it’s pretty good! Not too loud. I would actually like it louder. I don’t know what this rasp is everyone talks about.

So I straight piped my Dodge Ram with headers and no cats. Big mistake! This one is too loud!!

It'll be loud, but loud is good. In my opinion, electric cutouts are a great option for a daily driver street car. That was you can run it through mufflers and resonators when you want, and you can open it up for all the noise when you feel the need. I just put some electric eBay cutouts on mine right behind the offroad connection pipes. I have a stage 2 TSP cam and long tube headers that basically dump right into the cutouts for full on race car mode. Then I can close them off to go through the factory H pipe, resonators, and some GM performance mufflers for stealth mode. Having the ability to change the sound makes it much more enjoyable when you need it.

It will be fine. The high end catbacks like Corsa or Borla dont drone. I think Corsa Xtreme catback is louder then then the Borla. Really great bark that scares people.

So far so good. They've only been on there a few days now so we will see how long the motors hold up. The eBay universal kits don't really fit our cars as is though, so I bit the bullets and went to the muffler shop to get them chopped up and welded in. That set me back another $125. So all in cost was still $225 which is still way cheaper than the other options out there.

So, yeah, doing LT's and dyno for sure. next few weeks. was going to either replace factory "H"/resonators with "X" pipe. OR, keep "H"'s and splice in elect. cut outs. (Badlanz)
cant decide. After I talk it over with my tuner next week and any more feedback I get here.
READY FOR SPRING!!!!!!!

Good luck man. Let us know what you decide and post the results and a sound clip... I'd love to hear it.
