Now that GM's troubles with ambient lighting have been discovered and no one from GM has claimed it as just a rumor, I'd like everyone to come in and say how the possible loss of ABL will affect your order.

As for me, I'd have to delay until they get it working, assuming it would still come out for the 2010 model.

Here is my opinion: It is a rumor. Just cause they don't answer every rumor we start dosent mean it is true. These "Problems" were on a car from a year ago. They have this lighting on SSRs so it works.

I am starting a new rumor: I heard from some guy that Camaros don't come with wheels. GM hasn't denied it yet so it must be true and I am cancelling my order.

okay, heres my opinion.

If it was a rumor, someone would have came on here and said it was, to keep our sanity.

To me, not saying anything, kinda makes me believe it's true.

It's not that big a deal to me. I had forgotten all about it until you guys made a big deal about it not being there.

how hard can it possibly be to hook up a few light bulbs or LEDs? It has got to be a rumor

I'm still really disappointed it not available on the 1SS. I think it should be optional, I hope it will be optional by the time I'm ready to buy. I might just wait and get a used 2SS.

part of the reason i am getting the 2lt is cause it has this, the leather is nice but i really really like this option and since they are trying to market the camaro to a younger audiense i think this should be included because most of the ppl who get this will use it for romantic moments ie. a younger age group.

Especially when other GM vehicles already have it installed, and future GM products have it installed...

It's currently being perfected. Not canceled, not delayed. As Scott said, why show something if it's not ready yet?

Believe me guys, GM is working their butts off to make this car absolutely perfect. They know how much we want the car, that's obvious from the thousands of orders already submitted. This car could very well be a major game changer for GM.

It's not a rumor, or else these topic would have been squashed a long time ago. Please continue to act like this is fact until we hear otherwise, which so far we haven't. It's interior lighting that creates a bluish (or orange on the IOM package) glow in the interior at night. Looks really good.
