How do you *remove* the pcv oil separator?

I cannot figure out how to remove the line that plugs into the intake tube. No luck with the search button or Google. Can someone please respond with how? I figured out the quick release and the separator itself.

It was installed when I bought the car and they did not place the instructions inside. And I didn't realize it till I was home in sc after driving back from Florida...

Thanks!

There should be a clip on the fitting. you press down on that clip and pull the fitting off. Sorry I cannot take a photo.

I plan on leaving it on. But the dealer tried to take it off yesterday when they did an oil change and f-ed up the whole thing, separator, house, intake. I want to show them how to do it when I bring it in this morning to have them look at it.

Here's a picture of the damage. They used a wrench on it

No luck. I see two flat spots on the fitting but couldn't make it release. Surely someone has done this...

You just pull it out... The part number is 12656451, you should be able to find the instructions online. I'd make them replace the stuff they damaged too, there's no excuse for a dealer to not follow their own instructions.

Worked like a charm. Just had to put more oomph than what I was using before. Thanks bluBlud

I have a CAI now, but this is what my air box looks like. On yours, I can't tell if the stuff around the plug is dealer damage or just how they're sealed at the factory.
