Not a good weekend for my camaro & me

Friday got pulled over for doing 73 in a "55". The sate highway patrol was waiting just on the other side from where it goes from 65 to 55... sure yes I was still speeding, but now I get 2 points on my license instead of none.

Then Saturday Im driving along the highway (not speeding this time), and I hear a loud crack and didn't see anything. Then sunday morning I come out to the car and see this....

So now safelite will be paying me a $50 visit tomorrow.

Safelite will have to replace that, won't they? Something obviously hit hard. Sorry about your luck. :(

That sucks!

Since you have HUD, make sure you ask for OEM glass. I've heard (from here) that the Safelite glass does not work well for HUD.

If you do a search, I'mm sure you'll find info on it.

I've also read where some windshields are stressed from the factory and crack just like that. If so and there is no hit mark.... the dealer will replace it.

Look closely. It's very clear where something hit the edge of the windshield
