Installing Catch can/removing shrink fit connections?

I am installing the Elite catch can on my LLT and I need to know how to remove the shrink fit connections on the line from the rear valve cover to the intake manifold. Do I cut them off?
I did a search but couldn't find anything and the online instructions from Elite are just about worthless, so any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks!
Harry

You need to cut the tube about an 1-1.5" from the connector on the IM and 2-2.5" from the valve cover side, essentially removing most of the plastic tube and just leaving a bit on each end. Then connect the hoses in between.

Here is a pic with the RX can but its the same install:

Heat up the tube near the connector and pull it with a pair of pliers. Removed all mine that way, when the tube is off the connector it has O-rings on them.

That's how I did mine, got rid of the tubes completely and just connected the hoses right onto the fittings

I ended up taking a sharp exacto blade and slicing the shrink fit tubing off the elbow connectors, it worked great! Thanks for the input guys!!
